Back in Fall 2016, Julia Polyck-O’Neill reviewed Jordan Abel’s Griffin Poetry Prize-winning collection, Injun (Talon, 2016), for the twelfth issue of the poetics journal, Tripwire. This issue, titled AKA VANCOUVER: WRITING FROM THE UNCEDED COAST SALISH TERRITORIES, was launched in St Catharines, ON, at the conference “The Concept of Vancouver,” co-organized by Polyck-O’Neill, Gregory Betts, and Andrew McEwan at Brock University’s Centre for Canadian Studies.
